The major mental health, medical and dental professional associations recognize and support clinical hypnosis as a positive therapeutic approach. In fact, clinical hypnosis is an effective tool to treat a wide range of issues. Many of us often enter into an altered state of awareness several times a day.
Patients often described clinical hypnosis as an enjoyable and a relaxing experience. The process is to promote relaxation for the patient so the conscious mind can be still and rest. Hence the subconscious mind (that part of us which is creative) may engage in problem-solving and conflict resolution.
