Additionally Dr. Garrison is considered an out-of-network provider, and he  continues to apply for additional health insurance panels to meet the treatment needs of his patients.   Out-of-Pocket expenses for mental health care is considered a health care/medical expense.   Please check with an accountant and/or with the IRS for additional information on submitting therapy expenses as a tax deduction.

Treatment services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan.  Many patients have a co-payment per their insurance company ranging from $15.00 to $35.00 per session. We encourage you please  review your coverage carefully by asking the following questions and calling your heath insurance. Please note, many health insurance companies do pay for services, once your deductible has been met, excluding the mandatory co-payment.

  • Do I have mental health benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per calendar year does my plan cover?
  • How much does my plan cover for an out-of-network provider?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?

Psychotherapy, Hypnotherapy and Clinical Supervision Fees:

Individual Psychotherapy Fees are $220 per 50 Minutes

Couples and Family Treatment Fees are $300 per 50 minutes

90 Minute Sessions are $350.00

Clinical Consultation/Supervision for licensed clinicians: $90.00 per hour

Payment
For patients who have co-payments (who are insured) and for self-paid patients, fees must be paid prior to the session via PayPal.

Sliding Fee Scale

There is a sliding fee scale for Open Path patients and for patients who are highly motivated for treatment, and who are unable to accommodate my regular fees.

Cancellation Policy
Please make every effort to attend your therapy session.  A 24-hour notice to cancel an appointment is appreciated.  Otherwise, you will be charged for the full session fee.
