With years of dedicated experience as an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), I provide individual and group psychoanalytic and psychodynamic supervision to a multidisciplinary cohort of licensed providers. My practice serves psychiatric, doctoral, and master’s level mental health clinicians, including conditionally licensed LCPCs and LPCs working toward independent licensure. My supervisory lens is deeply rooted in the structural depth of Object Relations and the contemporary focus of Relational Psychoanalysis. I help clinicians move beyond surface-level interventions to engage with the ‘here-and-now’ of the therapeutic relationship, emphasizing the co-construction of meaning and the sophisticated use of the clinician’s subjective experience.

In our work together, we pay close attention to the parallel process—the subtle way the dynamics of the therapeutic dyad often mirror themselves within the supervisory relationship. By examining these reflections, we gain a clearer window into the patient’s internal world and the live clinical encounter. Central to my approach is the disciplined and creative use of countertransference; I view the clinician’s emotional responses not as obstacles, but as essential diagnostic tools. Together, we navigate the complexities of the transference—uncovering the historical object relations being reenacted—to transform clinical impasses into opportunities for deep, relational growth.
